IMPORTANT NOMINATION GUIDELINES:

1. Nominations may be submitted by individuals, institutions, organisations, communities or

recognised stakeholder groups.

2. Self-nominations may be accepted where permitted by the Awards Secretariat.

3. All nominations must include sufficient and verifiable evidence to support the claims made.

4. Nominees should demonstrate meaningful and measurable contributions to sanitation,

environmental health, waste management, environmental protection and/or sustainability.

5. The Awards Secretariat reserves the right to verify all information and supporting evidence

submitted.

6. Nominees may be contacted for additional information or clarification where necessary.

7. The Awards Committee and independent judging panel shall assess nominations in accordance

with the approved assessment criteria.

8. Submission of a nomination form does not automatically guarantee selection as a finalist or

award recipient.

9. The decision of the Awards Committee and independent judging panel shall be final, subject to

the approved rules and procedures of the Awards.

10. Any false, misleading or unverifiable information may result in the disqualification of a

nomination.
